September 2009 Western Lake Erie Fishing Reports

[Part Time Percher]

Went out to F-Can with son-in-law and his father 8:30-12:00 noon on Monday. 53 keepers 7"-12" range, (4 -12"). Using spreaders with small shiner's from Brand's in PC. Nice perch chop. Had to be on your toes, light bite. Overcast day most of the time. Nice day to be out.

[Part Time Percher]

After putting a new battery in the boat, son-in-law and I got to G-Can around 9:15 this morning. Had our limit of perch in 2 hours. Spreaders and small minnows from Drawbridge Marina. As soon as it hit the bottom they were hitting. Lot of 7" to 8" perch. Had a few 9" to 11". Lot's of double's. Waves were two foot most of the time. Another nice day on the lake!

fished 2 miles N. of Intake in 22 fow. Limited in 3 hours. 50 fish 10 lbs. Had a couple over 11 inches.
