Kelleys Island walleye

Any Reports around Kelleys ? I have a buddy bringing his son and a friend up for the weekend ........and yes I have checked the weather I know its going to tuff !

Weather looks good for Sunday.When we fished north of Kelly's 4 wks ago there was alot of grass in the water and with last week blow could still be alot of grass affecting trolling.Resd some reports out east running the gear near the bottom with small cracks going slow.I would head east of Kelly's till out of any grass.But usually some nets at the east/west 35 line you should be aware of.

Trolled this week north of islands on the Canadian line & north east of Kellys island shoal. Lots of grass and not a lot of action. Decent marks but not a lot of hits. Ran to vermillion dumping ground area in 48-50ft & did much better. Divers & spoons near the bottom & bandits deep did the job but it still wasn?t a consistent bite. Had to work it for a while.

Wish I perch fishing because the bottom is starting to light up with good schools of fish. Think it?s going to be a fun October of perch fishing.
