    Default Braid line color

Yesterday I was calibraiting some reels I had filled three or four years ago but I had yet to use them up to this point. Two outfits had green Power Pro, but the other two outfits had a stiffer yellow braid line on them. I could not find the box the line came in, and I not sure what test line it. My question is, I not sure what I was thinking when I bought that line, but the yellow color seems a bit bright to me. What do you all think about that yellow braid?

I use hi-vis yellow 30lb braid on my dipsy rods. I also use hi-vis yellow Stren mono on my board rods. Helps visibility of the line & I catch plenty of fish. Hope this helps...

I also use hi vis 30# braid line on my dipsey rods I have 20# florocarbon leaders I use off them so visibility to fish doesn't affect the bite The high vis lets me see the line on the dipseys and helps me determine if got a fish on one of the lines or not.

Also using the hi-vis yellow 30# braid on dipsey rods. I don't think it causes me to catch less fish than anyone else

So great to have Meerkat join us on this site.He is a die hard fisherman and his knowledge of fishing on Erie few can surpass.Joe was kind enough to take me on his boat to show me how to use more than 2 inline boards per side. That was like 10yrs ago and he has helped me solve other problems I had trolling since then. Many thanks.
