Re: What a season.
I agree was a great spring them July nothing but east winds all month and big blows. Perch was small maybe the spiny water flies are killing them. Caught a couple with their mouths full of them.

Clarification: Data presented is in meters - level of 174 meters is approximately 571 feet (above mean sea level).

Good catch (pun intended), EyesquaredR!
Those of us who have been around at least 30 years or so remember the real low water levels around 2000. Gull Island shoal had rock showing and other areas around the lake had spots that were exposed that usually weren't. When there was a real high west wind, some docks, such as at Kelley's Island, were dry, and other marinas had boats setting on the bottom. Hope it doesn't drop any farther than it is now. In October I had to sit on the dock a few times to get out of the boat during those NE winds.

Re: What a season.
This was my season, as far as days on the water. The worst part is we got a place at Port Clinton this year, and I didn't have to drive to the boat 70 miles every Saturday. Between weather, kids and wife working, fishing partner got a new job, and my new drunk neighbors lol
