Vermillion walleye
Camping at East harbor this whole week. Struggled mightily the first 3 days. Decided to trailer to vermilion and game on. Limit of 12 on Wednesday and had another person come up and got out limits of 18 the last two days. Straight out of vermilion 4 miles and today when the bite died today we went further north and caught bigger fish. Dipsy and jets with small stinger spoons. Fish got bigger the further north we went.

Re: Vermillion walleye
Great report! I'm going to be up there in that area this next week fishing. Good to here a positive report, that's the area we were looking to fish but wasn't sure if it was far enough east. Sounds like the fish are there. Thanks for the info!

Re: Vermillion walleye
Trolled alone yesterday heading East, starting half way up the Lorain dump in 50 feet of water and ending a few miles in 43 feet at 2.5 mph. Caught at least a dozen nice eaters 30 feet down on dipseys with silver spoons and a few on a 120 foot long line bandit with a 5 oz snap weight. Threw them all back so they might still be there.
