No place is too far to go fishing. I live in Muncie, IN, and drive 340 miles each way to fish Geneva. Money and time have dictated whether I can go fishing, not the distance. I have fished for salmon as far north as upper WI and the upper lower part of Michigan, and I've fished as far south as Marathon FL in the keys for anything that would bite. But I'm 74 now and have been at it for a while, now I have to rely on my oldest son to go to Lake Erie, and we try to make a 1-week trip up to Geneva each July.
