Finally getting around to circling back on this. Our week was a mixed bag, with the 1st 2 days being great and then Mother Nature deciding not to cooperate for pretty much the remainder of the week. Sunday and Monday fishing West of Kelley's and on the NW corner all 3 boats (8 guys total) filled out by early afternoon running Tru-trips and spoons. Tuesday a big blow from the E-NE so sat at the motel all day. Wednesday we got out for a few hours but the water was pretty stained yet and we only managed 4 fish before thunderstorms rolled into the area and we got out of there. Thursday was pretty windy as well with waves starting to build to 4-5' fairly quickly so we only had maybe 2 hours on the water and with the forecast looking the same for Friday so we decided to head home a day early.

After 25+ years of posting either here or on WC, I did finally get to meet Juls in person at the Mazuriks ramp on Thursday as we were pulling out. I'm pretty sure she was there to make fun of the few out of staters that thought it would be a good idea to even go out that day. Anyway, it was great to meet you Juls. We'll be back same time next year with hopefully more cooperative weather, this was probably the worst we've personally had in teh last 10-15 years for our trip.
