Re: Erie Lowrance CMap or Navionics Card
Erie is pretty much a flat mud hole. You just want to know the location the reefs if your coming for jig season. What month and which port will you be going out of? HDS units mark the reefs in 1' increments, a chip would maybe go down to 1/2' which means almost nothing here unless your night trolling or bass fishing.

Re: Erie Lowrance CMap or Navionics Card
I've been out to Erie 7 out of the last 8 years (Covid we weren't allowed). We stay on South Bass island. Primarily we troll bandits the whole time. I have a pretty good recollection of where all the reefs are as well as the cans. This is just the 1st year I'll be coming out as a captain and was trying to avoid the blue blob.
