    Default Spring hatch survey

    I have not seen results from the spring hatch survey for 2024. Did I miss it or has it not been released yet???

    The Ohio Western Basin walleye YOY trawl results were at the upper end of the "low" category. The 2024 year class is therefore not nearly as good as most of the hatches going back to 2015. However, the Central Basin and Ontario results have not been released yet, so the final Lake wide estimate won't be known until the end of the year. The long run of good to excellent hatches couldn't last forever.
