Thanks for the replies. I’ve been up here for the summer 4 years now, and just never even saw a crappie. Just dumb luck I guess. I may wonder over to all the submerged cover by the trees, and target them just to see if there are more. Something to do while I wait for the wind to die down. To rough to make the trip east, or north right now. I usually just smallie fish when it’s nasty, but hey…I’d rather catch something to eat instead.
