Walleye west of west sister

Thinking about going out today and trying to get onto some walleye, I'm in the ottawa river and though about making a run out to sputnik and heading east towards west sister, is the action still happening there tight lines

Sorry if this is late! We fished the War buoy NW of West Sister a couple weeks ago during peak mayfly hatches. There were fish there but the bite was supper slow (damn bugs!). We managed a few casting slow and low, but it was a long day. Sounds like fish have shifted further East. I hear the bite near Huron/Vermilion dumping grounds is on now. Thinking the perch bite should be ramping up since everything seems to be a couple weeks early this year. Tight lines!
