Western Basin Radio Channel
With no network in the western basin if I wanted to try and pick up some charter radio chatter what channels do some of the charters use?
I appreciate and info you can help with, thank you.

Re: Western Basin Radio Channel
I'm not sure what channel the charters use but you won't get a lot of good info from most of them as they have to make a living from catching fish. most of them communicate by phone if they have service.
but like Juls said other people mostly use 79 or 68. and you will find out more from regular people on those 2 channels. if you have a programmable scan just set your radio to scan those 2 channels, or even better you can set it to scan all channels. but most of the time I just stay on 68 on the central basin and don't fool with scan.
