Started with 16 boats in our end of summer get together. Ended with 10 as it was rougher than expected. We had 50 anglers with about a dozen sea sick on day one. Took a couple hours to dial in the fish. Straight north out of huron to 42 to 43 feet then due east. Bandits 90 to 120 back caught the best fish. Spoons on dipseys 90 to 100 on zero and 150 to 170 on 3s.
Friday and Saturday they wanted big spoons. Sunday small spoons. Saturday there was a bug hatch thick as fog around noon. Everything was covered. We were seeing huge catfish swimmimg the surface feeding on them. We even got a few walleye on spoons without wieghts probably 4 foot down as we were seeing if a kitty would bite.
Fish were scattered and up and down in the water column. Sunday we found nice walleye about 20 miles NE of huron in 43 foot. They came on high bandits around noon.
