Fished out of Huron River and headed NE. Lines in the water while it was still fairly dark. Set up in 40FOW and trolled ENE. About 2.5 to 3.0 SOG. Had three dipsy divers going. Two on setting 3, one at 101 feet out and the other at 80 feet out. Dipsy on zero setting 65 feet out. Immediately at sunrise caught a 24" walleye. On a larger spoon with yellow, gold and three stripes. Sorry do not know the name of it. Changed direction a few times. Picked up a few more 16" fish. Headed to Huron dump area to a large pack of boats around noon. Didn't get any more keepers. Ended up bringing home 5 walleye. 4 of them in the 16 to 18" range. Bite was good early then REALLY slowed around 9 to 10am.

First time heading out in the dark. Kind of creepy but not horrible. Biggest issue was not being able to see the rod tips. My boat does have spreader lights on the top. They light the deck very well but not much beyond that. Sadly the moon was blocked by clouds. Might try it again on a full moon and clear sky.
