Took friends out Saturday, fished from 10:30 to 4:00 east of KI, north of the dump to the line. Picked up 9 keepers and threw back about 10. Fished in 40+ feet of water and targeted about 35ft using 4 dipseys at 0 and 3 settings.
Started with the larger spoons then changed to smaller ones and also some harnesses.
Fish caught were 16" to 21"
Some boats directly N of the dump and another small group a few miles North.
On Friday PM I took a "check it out" ride over to Green as I heard some action there. trolled around Green for an hour....nothing.....also several mayfly slicks still in the water there.
The week in total was 21 walleye but lost 2 boards and one net (net was my fault}
Besides catching, always a great experience on the water.
No bugs, sunshine, waves, the Pelee Island Ferry etc.
