We planned to fish the same program as yesterday but we first stopped in 38 ft water with allot of good marks and some drifters working them. We caught some small eyes but were ate up with sheep. They were thick and hungry, so we had to pull everything. I should have known better.

We headed NNE out from Huron to 47 ft of water. The big difference from yesterday was we had a good chop. We adjusted our boards up from 80 back to 50-60 back. The spros and bandits did not catch the biggest fish today, but they did catch a few solid 20 inchers. The best colors were Gold Perch and Fruit Dot. We trolled at 2.4 to 2.8.

Once again small Stinger spoons in copper wonder-bread were the best producers. We worked them 42 to 45 down. They not only took the most fish but today they caught 4, 24 inch fish. Two of them were extra thick, real nice fish.

Like others reported the biting flies found us. We resorted to chemical warfare for our own survival. DEET!

We will off the water for a few days but hope to be back out next week.
