Yes,people are using erie dearie to cast.And yes,you can use a harness off a bottom bouncer to drag while drifting or even trolling.A weapon is a type of worm harness that you cast.You place an egg sinker 18-24" in front of the blade/hooks and cast like an erie dearie.Takes a little time to get used to casting,because the rig sometimes tangles up on itself depending on your casting style.
