Re: Fishing with Gunner, Austin, and Ryan 3/17/2022
Went out of mazuriks this morning also, got there at 8, boats lined up out to the road. Took a bit to get in the water, headed north towards the monument at south bass, got a mile or so south and marked lots of fish. The water had a very light sheet of ice on it, thought it was strange, but started trolling. 3 hours and 2 moves (east of south bass, then a bit north, not a bite. Went back to the original spot and about 11:30 we finally got one. Then we started picking them up fairly consistently. Big fish, ended up with 8 of them by about 2, not on fire but fairly consistent. Largest was 8 lbs, the rest were 5-6 lbs. just a beautiful day on the lake
