Re: Lettered yellow cans?
I really cannot answer for today's conditions on the Lettering of the range cans. But in the past (4 years ago) they always had letters on the cans. There are actually 3 sets of cans marking the firing range. The inner set of cans are in a circular line starting close to shore SE of Camp Perry and ending just SE of the Toussaint River and/or NW of Camp Perry shoreline. There is also a line of cans going west to east in a straight line across the firing range terminating near Niagara Reef bell buoy. The larger cans that mark the Firing range in its entirety are lettered A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, and L. Here is a map that may help you although it does not address your original question.
