Very interesting. Wished I would have been fishing in the late 70's vs the other past time I had at the time (i.e. college life). It is still popular in the the Toledo area for our elders to call Walleye a Pickerel. This must be what caused the indentification difference between now and then. Again, Thanks. A very interesting read.

Thanks also very interesting we need to be cereful of what we still have and protect there reproduction after reading I have more appreciation for conservation
