    Don’t feel bad about the antenna. Mine is mounted on the T -top with a ratchet mount, and I break one about every third year. I forget it is up after I load the boat and either break it off hitting a tree or backing into the barn. Lately, I’ve been leaving it down, and the radio still seems to work Ok.
