Perch fishing

Went out of meinkes today, went to straight out of wards canal, roughly a mile +/- out. When I was there to launch a week ago it was closed so I just used the public launch at meinkes today. I caught 8 of em, took 4hrs. I went to A can, and marked em but nothing was biting. Perhaps it was the 17" minnows from the shop I stopped at prior to heading out to meinkes. Al szuch said its dang slow this yr as most of you probably know. I had a couple jumbos and rest were avg 8" or so. May go out tomorrow morning... well see.

That would be Rick Ferguson...he has owned that bait shop for many many years, but kept the original name.
