Great report. Your insight is always appreciated. I normally run worm harnesses off in-line boards with inline weights. I was wondering if you have any experience running spoons this way or if you have an opinion if it will work well or not?

Sure! If you're not able to run dipsies, then, running Off Shore Tackle Tadpoles (size 1 and 2's) behind your boards, with a 5-6 foot leader will work too. Tru-Trip Jet 30's will also work behind Off Shore boards...40's pull too hard behind inline boards. The reason I would use the Tadpole over the inline weight in this scenario is that the Tadpole is a diving weight and will keep a better depth and is less affected by any wave surges as the inline weight would be.
