Saturday Morning 6/22 Drift Report
We got our limit of 18 casting saturday morning 8-11:30 am. Tried north of rattlesnake on the canadian line. picked up 2 in 2 drifts. Made the 1-2 mile run NW on the line out towards the large parking lot of boats. We fished SE of the pack. Caught the remaining 16 in 2 drifts. Fish were much higher. 8 count casting weapons, and then bottom bouncers were also hot....but you had to bring them up a full 7-8 cranks off the bottom. Most fish marked were in 18-25 FOW, fishing in 35-36 FOW. Recreational boat of newbies fishing next to us caught 10+ sheephead and 0 walleye during our final drift in which we caught 7 walleye and 0 sheephead, make sure you are staying high enough in the water column during the mayfly hatch. Best of luck

bet that boat of rookies were all dragging their lines, which put them on the bottom with those farm animals.Probably why those walleye were suspended. To get away from those sheephead.
