Perch report 8-18

Left brenners marina at 7am back at 2pm. Six guys only managed 60 perch 18lbs. Very slow day. Fished the Toledo light house. Many boats in that area but didn’t see to many catching. Maybe fish were turned off by the north wind. Also the Ohio wildlife was out checking boats. They stopped by us while fishing and asked to see fishing license. Just doing there job I guess. Anyways good luck.

We were motoring in from the ship channel almost to Anchor Point when we got stopped by the DNR and checked. Counted our fish and checked everything, we had no problems. Thought it was odd to get stopped and checked while under power and not fishing. When we got to the dock the DNR survey person checked our fish too.
