    Default Jigging 4/9

    Left Cullen Park around 8, water cleaned up pretty decent just past the radar bouy. Tried 8-10 feet of water east of Turtle Island and never felt a fish. Ran out towards the lighthouse near the Michigan border in 14 fow and hooked 2 right away, but lost them fumbling around getting the net. Lol. Drifted for a few with no more takers. Ran out closer to the lighthouse and back towards the channel and stopped in 16-17 fow. Caught 1 at 10:00, and had my 4th at 10:25. Had purple and white blade on one rod, pink and white on the other. Purple and white had all the action. I think I just needed to have a rod in each hand for so they had a fair chance of throwing the hook. Lol. Be back out in the morning. All 4 fish were almost right at 17". The first one I hooked and lost felt bigger, but isn't that always our story! Lol
