I've been up once this year to drop off the boat to get the engine put back in. We brought the 17' duck boat up going to get out for the jig bite but 15-20 our of the northeast is too much. The last 3 weekends have been pretty crappy weather and the forecast for this weekend doesn't look great last time I checked. Hoping to get the big boat in Friday, at least then we can get out in the 3-5s if need be.

I had a planned a trip starting Thursday AM thew Sunday this week with my 2 boys, but after looking at iwindsurf I canceled the trip. Know I will have to wait till next year to get there. Put out a lot of money for the trip in lures and other equipment but I can still use it on the next trip hopefully next spring. I thought for sure we could get at least 2 days of fishing in out of 4. I guess that's mother nature just not cooperating.

With all this wind consider all the lost days fishing this spring for the charters captains.Difficult to make up these days later and all the income that is lost. Also for local economy.Hotels, bait stores, fish cleaners....
