My first trip up back on April 8th I realized when I was an hour from home that I had forgot my 15 rods n reels. I was forced to stop and buy 2 more. What a shame!!!!! I'm glad I didn't forget my tackle!!!

We had a similar situation but our one fish was a 20" Silver Bullet! 30 back on a pink lemonade. Pulled the inline board out of the water when it jumped the first two times. It was a great fight for the first timer we had on board. He was pretty bummed when we told him it we the wrong type of fish and we had to throw it back! We did get a picture of it for him before we put it back to let it grow up.

BP look at the bright side, at least you were out on the lake.

I'm going to whine here a little bit, looks like for the first time in many years I will miss the springtime bite and I will be lucky to be on the big pond until sometime in June.

Good luck the next time out

Rods to me are like shoes to women, you can't have too many! The same can be said for crankbaits and crawler harnesses.

Rods,,, When I cleaned the boat last fall for the winter I took 15 rods off the boat and I don't troll. I keep telling myself I am not going to do that but 1 at a time they keep reappearing. Jigging rods, casting, drifting, perch.
