According to a few reports, off the SE corner of kellys , east about a mile might be a few fish. Juls post was about that area as well as a couple others, pic shows island south of airport, fish should be hangin in that area this time of year. Water was clear north of Kelly's yesterday and wow, it was hot, no wind in the pm.

Went out of Metzger Marsh public ramp about 8:30 am Friday - Waves higher than predicted so went out near first boat in 19 fow. Drifting for perch while getting rods ready (first time out this year). Daughter pulled in a 10 inch right away so dropped anchor. Wind and waves moved us a bit, but we ended up with 12 nice perch, about 6 short walleye, couple of fighting sheephead casting harnesses. Wind calmed down to almost nothing so headed toward intake and drifted for perch / walleye. Couple more shorts then on last cast 21 incher. Right as we hit the channel the wind started kicking. Fun day getting all the tackle ready, catching some fish, and family time.
