We were out Saturday. Started Southwest of A can then to the gravel pit then northwest of the intake. Caught fish in all areas. It was tough going once the wind died. Caught about 35 walleye and kept only 3. A lot of sheephead and white perch. All keeper walleye were caught on copper #5 blades with 1/2 ounce weight

Went casting this afternoon, east of north bass, west of Sugar, northwest of kelleys, no eyes, lots of farm animals, disappointed because I expected to be able to snag a few today with the overcast skies, maybe the noise from all the boats turned them off?

Started out casting just south of Niagara on 7/4. Fished there for 5 hours and picked up 3 fish Ohio!!! Unfortunately they were monster sheep with the biggest going 28 inches. Lots of fun to catch. We did manage to pick up 2 keeper eyes out of 15 there with one going 26". We then ran to G can where the water was not quit as clear and caught 20 more eyes in 2 hours with 3 keepers from 17"-19" and several yellow perch. I was very surprised at the lack of boat traffic on the lake for a holiday.

Drifted between Green and Rattlesnake yesterday and this morning. Caught 19 yesterday in 2 hours, 5 being 16-18", the rest under 15''. This morning caught 5 in a hour, all undersized with the exception of 1 20". Lots of hungry fish in the area. A few perch and sheephead in between, but mostly hungry young walleye..... gold mayfly rig and weight forwards.
