When fishing Lorain/east and come August/September out in the 50-60+ fow. Yes the larger spoons will get you larger walleye and bullets. More so than in the shallower west end of the lake.
Around the islands I mainly use the smaller spoons but do put out 1 or 2 larger spoons ( if we have enough lines) when hunting for active fish.I can only hope I have earned the freedom that has been given me.
