Started out SW of Niagara Reef lots of deep marks but no takers, Was pulling meat at 1.5 to 1.8 SOG. Tried high and low but no go. The water was extremely clear and I could see my spinner at least 6 foot down. Moved over NE of Niagara and SSE of C-Can closer to C than Niagara, managed to catch a whiteperchzilla, biggest one I have ever seen. I caught it deep and while removing it couldn't help but notice how cold it was. So I slowed every thing up and started catching a few shorts with 3 keepers in the mix lost a couple also. The keepers slammed the bait and would sink the board momentarily but the shorts were not near as aggressive. The best speeds were .7 to 1.3 SOG with the TT40 back 65 to 70 in 31 to 32 FOW. Lots of very large White Perch also in the mix but no Sheepsheads or yellow perch. Maybe could have limited but had to quit early due to a personal commitment.

There was some kind of bug hatch out there recently as the water had a heavy covering of the sheds they produce when hatching. Definitely not Mayflies but much smaller. The water is really clean/clear out that way also.
