Got a late start today and on the water at Catawba by 9 am. Headed straight to Niagra because, being my rookie season, that is the area I have been learning about the last 3 weeks. Pulled 4 the first pass N. of Niagra. Popular Bandits at 60 - 80back. 2 more passes with nothing.

Capt. Juls has been mentioning Mouse Island Ferry area so we decided to try it on the way back to the ramp about 2 p.m. After setting lines we saw we were on course with the Ferry. The distance was safe but as I steered to avoid him, he tooted and changed course. Obviously he did that to adjust his course to the dock but it was pretty cool for us.

Just as the Ferry was beside us (again, at a safe distance) we had a triple and got all 3 in. Good fun and a good show for the ferry as we were a$$holes and elbows flying. Bandits at 80 - 100 at about 1.2 seemed to work at that moment but we had to head home so we did not make any more passes.

7 Walleye in 4-5 hours today, and a few nice ones, It was a Good Day!

Thanks again to Capt. Jim (Skipper9), Capt. Juls, Wakina and everyone sharing info and ideas. As I immerse myself into this game your help is appreciated.
