I found one floating by the stern of my boat while perching at B can last Saturday. I've never used one but my son picked it out of the water.

Yes, just not as often as I used too. Sold over 70 of em and kept around 30 as at times they still catch fish, if you ever go to Saginaw bay they still work pretty good there, some guys still run them on St Clair. Nowadays I use an inline weight about 3 ft infront of the tot to get what ever depth I want. Those and wigglewarts work in the spring when you want to cover water as they run faster than a lot of crankbaits will without the spinout
I can only hope I have earned the freedom that has been given me.

My dad uses a few. One of his buddies teases him "you still use that old junk?". He said yes, because this generation of walleye has never seen one before! LOL

    Default try them

Just because they are old, doesnt mean they wont work. They are good in early summer. Look at the depth chart and get them down there. Use the same size so you keep consistant depth. They have been taking fish lately.

Was using them again on the rock pile by Cedar point on 6/15 and pulled a 28 and 32 incher. Blue and silver, 50 to 60 back 2 mph in 10 - 14 ft of water.
