Algae bloom

We finished out bye Kelleys Island this past weekend and there was algae bloom does that make you sick even if you don't get in the water or just get Waves splashing you by the waves coming off the boat because I got sick threw up twice and I never get sick before it all on a boat

I doubt you were sick due to the algae. Maybe if you were swimming in it but not from a splash off the boat....more likely something you ate or just motion sickness. We fished that area Thursday and even went through the really heavy algae just west of South Bass island and didn't have any problems.

Yeah that's what I was thinking I never got motion sickness before on a boat but I guess there's a first time for everything i was talking to a nurse and he said that a lot of people get sick just being on the boat around the algae bloom
