night fishing

Went off of Wanaka last night. Fishing was slow, we got 1, another boat had 6 lines out, and when we talked to him, he had 2.

Looking at bottom with light, there were very few fish down there...

Giving it a go tonight im sure the traffic will be crazy

sbh parking lot full even at 2am still a ton of trailors
surface temp was in the low 60s put the light in the water seen fish we got the first one at midnight

Any reports from the windmills/hoax area at night?

Have not had much luck at night or in spring in the past, but got into some this past week! I thought nothing was more difficult than doing the dance and being unsuccessful- until I pulled the boat this morning at SBH. These people have no idea what they are doing working there. Guys backing in to launch when guys are trying to get out...when both sets of docks are in and workers are watching. No organization.

Fished Woodlawn bar from midnight till r am ,solo,landed 4 and dropped 2..best time was 2am...jointed rapala..6 to 14'...spotted hundreds of eyes by accident with headlamp
