Thickness of Ice?

With the cold of last year, was able to run (physically run) from the Miller Ferry port in Port Clinton to Miller Ferry on South Bass, throughout the island and back to the PC Port on the ice.....Is the ice thick enough at this time to make a journey again?

The last I saw on a post from South Bass Island, they were getting ready to set up a road from the island to the mainland. They were going to mark the road with Christmas trees so island residents would have an established route. I don't know if they have completed this or even started it. I saw reports today of 11". This is not even close to last year and I would use caution getting to South Bass.
