perch report 8-1-14

fished on west side of kellys island by the concrete dock. was the last boat south of the pack. 26.5 f.o.w. started at 9 two of us had limit by 1030. 19 lbs at cleaners. Probably threw back well over 100 perch fun fishing. great day. spreaders with perch blades, crappie rigs and homemade wire rigs with 3/4 to 1 oz sinkers. only 1 sheephead, and a handul of white perch. good marks in area.

Where is the concrete dock and about how far off the island were you? I would like to find some of those good marks in the morning.

I saw one of the head boats was in that same area Thursday. He stayed in the area too so I'm guessing they were catching perch.
