Ice breaking ??

Rumor has it the ice breaking will begin this weekend for the start of shipping season for next Sat the 15th . The breaker is suppose to head up the Maumee River Channel tomorrow or Sat .

This will give the ice somewhere to move to now that is has not had in a while . Make sure to take extra gas for the machine and propane to stay warm should something happen . Better safe then sorry friends .

Its been a season to remember for sure and been a safe season so lets end it that way .

According to the News the breaker was to arrive near Maumee Area on Thursday and start breaking Friday.

Anyone out there fishing seen the breaker?

as of 5 pm friday night went over bridge river was soild, lake ice today was perfect measured 24 to 30 inchs of ice out to 6.5 miles out. but also heard that ice cutter will be breaking ice,
just becarefull best fishing right now is inside of first break.
