Okay... So you all want details... I figured you'd just be happy for a fellow fisherman.
Caught Wednesday, Feb 12, 2014 around 2:00 p.m.
About 6 miles out from Crane Creek... There are huts everywhere. Green was the color.
Overall a slow start to the day, 1 fish until 1:00... 3 guys fished till 5:30 pm and ended up with 12 overall... a couple over 26" the one in the picture is right at 32" (we didn't have a scale), and a handful of 18-22"ers
I don't have exact GPS numbers, but they wouldn't help you anyway... We didn't throw it back.

We ARE happy for you Matt. So how deep was the water 22'=25'? Swedish pimple? Little cleo? Huh, huh? Really tho, NICE fish.

This isn't "my" fish... Just for the record, just a buddy that I was with ( 3 of us).
He was using an alligator (or crockodile) something... It was green... Really that's all I recall. But the most fish were caught on blue pimple #6, and another blue spoon thingy. I know... Great details. You guys will have to bear with me. This was my first venture on the ice. I have a 30' Sportcraft and can tell you all the the colors and names of Reef Runners and Michigan Stingers, I can talk about different perch rigs from Skipper 9 rigs to crappie rigs...
I do know it was in 25 FOW
I just got introduced to ice yesterday ( @ -18 degrees) and I'm learning the lures and equipment.

Thanks Matt, water depth was probably most important anyway. I'm new to this stuff also. I'm out of bass haven and can tell you all that other stuff also, but am getting hip to ice jigs. swedish pimples seem to be the go to jig. Thanks again, Geary

Nice clean fish to mount....None of those goiters that they sometimes get.
