Where to go??

I am coming to Lake Erie on Thursday. Do you all think it will be cleaned up enough by then, or should I stay at home. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I might even go perch fishing.

I would say go. There is fishable water now and will get cleaner by the day. You can catch em good in stained water.

back in the mid 80,s the water was stained and the fishing was very hot. then the zebra mussle came along and cleaned the water. alot of tactics had to be changed to catch the fish in the clear water. so i say go fishing, you can catch fish in stained water. those were the good old days for us. and alot more drifting and casting was done back then. good luck and remember the trip is about spending time on the water and spending time with friends. the catching of fish is a big bonus.
