Going to be fishing around South Bass Is. this weekend. Was wondering if there is any jig bite around the islands or if I would be better off trolling. Where around the island is the best place for either? Any help would be appreciated.

In my opinion trolling would be best. I was on the west side of the islands 5-1. A lot of nice marks there. Just not a lot of bites. I think with a couple days of stable weather this fish will become very active. I want to be there when they do.
