yea, same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago on the NW side of Kelleys. A big 40+ footer came barreling straight at me. Me and crew were waving and yelling like crazy that we had boards out. We had a 200+ foot spread out and the jackass cruised right up to my boat within 20 feet and 3 old men wanted to know how the fishing was going! No joke! And I just put new line on the planer reels! Not only did we have a tangled up mess with all our lines we had out, but I had to cut the planer board line as well. Never seen anything like it!
