1st week of May

Will be on south bass island the first week of may. What is the best way to fish for walleye during this time?

I like to drift bottom bouncers with worm harnesses from rattlesnake island to the canadian line.. I usually can catch some real nice fish the first week of may.. You can also cast worm harnesse on the reef complex.. Or troll anywhere in the area. Of course that all depends on the water temp. and at this rate who knows..

Out of curiousity what is the water temp right now? We will be on south bass also the first week of may. Its our 5th year coming down from Buffalo we allways troll with deep diving reef runners 80-125' back and troll with 2-3 oz bottom bouncers about 100' back with harnesses. (wonder bread is a hot color for us)
