Much Better

I took the wife fishing this afternoon after the rain passed. We made several drifts just south of K can and got our limit in a little under 3 hours. The weatherman threw us a curve though. I had seen the wind was going to ease around 2 but that didn’t happen. It actually picked up making the drift speed pick up to 1.5 mph which is too fast to suit me.

Every fish was caught on dark purple 3/4 ounce jigs

Thanks for that encouraging update. I take it the water was clearer?

The water was much cleaner a mile from shore but is still heavily stained in close. Where I was fishing, there was some staining but not much until I got a little further east. The lake has definitely cleaned up a lot.
