Your thoughts on Tues Aug 17th Perch fishing with daughter

I just want to get some opinions if you all think I should take the chance to fish for perch Tuesday with the scattered chance of storms the weatherman is saying. I see the lake looks like it will be calm, but

1. Are the perch doing much?
2. Is the scattered storms too dangerous?

I want to take my daughter one more time before she has to go back to school. I dock over in West Harbor, so where else would be a good place to try?

Nothing Tuesday would stop me from getting my line wet. Perch fishing around G can is where I would go. You could get some rain in the afternoon but the forecast in the morning for now looks alright according to the weather channel. Waves 1 foot or less.

My weather Forcast has 30% chance storms in afternoon.I would fish in morning today but keep eye on your phone radar.Wind Forcast looks great for perch.Good luck.
