perch bite

any perch bite in the western basin, coming up next week and would like to take the wife and daughter out and catch some.

I haven't heard much. We tried for about an hour saturday afternoon southwest of Kelly's, nothing doing. there were a handful of boats anchored there

I tried in area L can Sunday and today. Half ticket Sunday and few today. Only bait can find is goldies. I had lots marks today on bottom and could not get them going.

On Friday, June 28th, I plan to go to G can with whatever the bait shop has, shiners or golden, I do well with either.
A lot of white perch are in the area of G can, so will give it a go, an old timer told me once that If you are catching a lot of white perch move to deeper water.
If your bringing your kids, these white perch are fun to catch~! And they like worms too~!
Fish them just like yellow perch, on the bottom.
Anyway, I will let you know, Friday June 28th looks good weather wise.

Anybody have any updates on perch? Been thinking about trying this week.
