7/28 report

Perched in the am due to bumpy water. East of monument caught 35 before heading to lunch at West Bay restaurant on Kelly’s. While eating lunch saw a larger pac of boats S.E. of Lucy’s Point. Headed over to check it out. Much better marks and picked up another 40 fat 9-10 inch perch. Lake layed down enough to read the small boards so we trolled toward the shoal and picked up 5 Walleye to add to the days bounty.
Headed back for the 130 mile ride home so I could clean fish.

Nice day on the lake! The perch are officially in the area - time to get the grandkids rigged and ready for their first Erie trip.

As always - we used the frozen emeralds from Richards bait. Cut them in half seemed to work better than whole.
