Sat & Sun West of Kelleys

Fished Sat & Sun from 7:00am to 10:30am each day, West of Kelleys Island.

Saturday was windy and choppy. Managed a limit by drifting crawler harnesses behind bait walkers. Casting did not do anything.

Sunday was sunny and just a light chop. Managed another limit. Ran bandits behind planer boards. Early fish wanted 60 back and bright colors. 1.3mph. Mid morning fish wanted fire tiger 90 back 1.5mph.

Grateful for a couple of good days. Others did well too. 4 hour wait at the cleaners on Sunday.

Picked up 20 in about an hour and a half drifting off the monument late Sunday afternoon. Would have got a limit but the wind kicked up and we headed in. We were jigging Erie dearies off the bottom.
