Don't know why anyone has posted a report so far today (8:33pm), so I will.

Straight from charter boat - the info is "general" to protect the boat from a swarm of other boats on Saturday am, but I feel obligated to let folks know since this site has given a lot of help to those seeking it and this weekend is a big fishing weekend, and I'm sure a lot of folks are looking here for advice.

I would not be so interested in the major reef area, the Davis Besse area, or west or north of there. Fishing changes day-to-day, but that's my report.

Hope this gives people some general info to help out on Saturday.

Right after posting this I realized some might take that as a hint to go where I suggested you shouldn't. Nope. That's not where the limits were caught on Friday, at least from my first-hand info.

I normally like your posts but this one was of no help to anyone. I understand not wanting to have a swarm of boats so if that's how you feel then why post at all?

It helps me. It's a wives and kids trip for me today so that means I don't have much time, and now I know no need to run west.
